Research Grant Programme
Tax Academy is committed to advancing tax knowledge and thought leadership in Singapore and the region. To support this, Tax Academy offers a research grant of up to SGD 7,500 for accepted research proposals.
Successful researchers can expect their papers to be featured at Tax Academy conferences and/or seminars aligned with their research topics, providing an opportunity to contribute to meaningful dialogue among tax professionals and policymakers.
Call for Submissions
Tax Academy invites researchers to submit proposals in the following areas:
AI and Its Impact on Tax — Exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming tax administration, compliance, and enforcement, and the policy and regulatory challenges that arise.
Digital Economy and Tax — Examining the tax implications of the digital economy, including issues of nexus, value creation, and the taxation of digital services across borders.
BEPS 2.0 — Analysing the latest developments under the OECD/G20 Two-Pillar Solution, including its implementation across jurisdictions and its impact on businesses and tax systems.
